A Sussex man facing a lifetime of paralysis has defied medical experts and Learnt to walk again.
Graham Miles, from Brighton, was diagnosed with “locked-in syndrome” after suffering a stroke in 1993.
He was fully conscious but could not move any part of his body apart from blinking his eyes.
Most people never recover but Daniel Cleal, a Dorset movement specialist, helped Mr Miles walk again through corrective exercise and movement.

I’ve been training hard with John, my new strength and conditioning coach who has been putting me through my paces and making sure I will be ready to go for the winter. I’ve also been doing some work with Daniel Cleal at Vitality Life Fitness who is based in Brighton.
Daniel has been focusing on my posture and movement efficiency, making sure everything is working as effectively as it can. With Daniel I have also done a lot of corrective exercise and seen massive improvements in my basic posture through working with him. The guy is a miracle worker!
