Corrective Exercise

What is Corrective Exercise?

Corrective Exercise is a complete physical-therapy. It bridges the gap between more conventional clinical therapies such as Osteopathy or Physiotherapy and that of more exercise based practitioners such as personal trainers or exercise specialists.

The primary goal as a Corrective Exercise Specialist is to promote pain free function, correcting and maintaining optimal postural alignment, source the potential “weak links” of the muscular-skeletal chain and begin re-educating the body to function efficiently through the use of universal motor recruitment patterns and integrated functional movements.

Corrective Exercise Therapy is used for Post Operation Rehabilitation, Rehabilitation of Muscular-Skeletal Injuries, Neurological Conditions, Joint Dysfunctions, Postural Correction or purely to enhance a client’s normal daily function or training capabilities.

This method of training / physical-therapy gives an individual the ability to positively invest in their own body, and promote optimal movement efficiency.
